PORTRAIT FOR THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF OBSTETRICIANS AND GYNAECOLOGISTS
“I was delighted to be asked to paint the portrait of retiring president, Dr Eddie Morris CBE, for their fabulous new premises in Union Street, London.
The college is a very special institution that is dedicated to improving the health of women and girls worldwide.
The unveiling of the portrait coincided with the admission ceremony for new members and fellows and it was a real privilege to be among such gifted and dedicated young medical professionals. Indeed, the college represents a community of over 16,500 members from almost every country in the world and the new premises are a fitting home for this important centre for women’s health globally.”

“We continue to be captivated by the portraits Terence painted of our daughter, Willow, and son, Hal. He did so much more than reproduce their likeness. He captured their very being at a distinct moment in time.”
Lighting designer, Mark Major and Riel Karmy Jones KC.
“If the house burnt down Terence McKenna’s portraits of our children would be the things we would save. They are a constant source of pleasure to us, even more so now our children have left home.”
Jane Booton.
“I particularly like my ‘Death Mask’. Like something out of the John Soane Museum!”
Actor, Kenneth Cranham.
“A wonderful portrait of a wonderful man and judge”
Bruce Houlder CB KC DL. (HH Judge Peter Rook).
“There is a depth of character in Terence’s portraits that goes to the essence of his subjects. I think he’s captured me as I see myself, my whole self!”
Actor, William Zappa.
“I had a desire to have a portrait ever since I was young. It struck me that ordinary people could be painted, not just the rich and famous. When I saw Terence’s work, the blend of classical skill and contemporary mood, I knew the time was right.”
Audrey Sharp.
“I had never thought of having a portrait painted until I saw Terence’s work. I suddenly knew I wanted him to create a lasting memory of John when he was well and enjoying life.
